-The Pope's Easter message focused on diplomacy in Libya.


-Congresswoman Gabby Giffords is now standing on her own, doctors say. She is also able to walk a little bit.


-China has forbidden an Easter service in Beijing.


-Antoine 'Bed Intruder' Dodson was arrested and put in jail for possession of marijuana.


-Michi Nogami-Marshall, wife of NFL player Brandon Marshall, has been arrested for stabbing him in the abdomen during a domestic dispute.


-Singer Leann Rimes and actor Eddie Cibrian, who famously left their previous spouses to begin seeing one another, got married on Friday.


-Cucumbers distributed by L&M Companies Inc are being recalled due to a salmonella contamination. The cucumbers were distributed from March 30th to April  7th in  New York, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, Nebraska, Texas and Wyoming.


-It's official! According to their manager, Hilary Shaw, all five members of Girls Aloud are reuniting in 2012. She says there won't be any new material, but there will likely be a one-off performance.
