-The prosecution has rested its case against tot mom Casey Anthony. Her defense team began presenting its case today. Some damning evidence was revealed yesterday in the form of a tattoo. Anthony got a tattoo that read "Belle Vita" shortly after her daughter's death. The tattoo is Italian for "beautiful life" and often symbolizes the beginning of a new start in life.

-Hugh Hufner and Crystal Harris cancelled their wedding over the weekend. The media mogul changed the cover of the latest issue of Playboy to include a sticker that says "Runaway Bride in this Issue".

-Representative Anthony Weiner is expected to finally step down from his position after continuous political pressure from the sexting scandal.

-Ra's Al Ghul is set to reappear in the new Batman film "The Dark Knight Rises". The character was thought to have died at the end of "Batman Begins" but Liam Neeson confirmed that he recently filmed scenes as the character.

-Lady Gaga's "The Edge of Glory" is set to premiere in a few days. Gaga is now being credited as the director of the video after there were "issues" on set with previous director Joseph Kahn. Meanwhile, Gaga's meat dress is being added to a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame display in Ohio.

-In addition to the E Coli battle in Germany, an outbreak has been confirmed in France where 5 children have been hospitalized.

-"Angry Birds" creator Rovio has announced two more versions of the game. "Angry Birds Magic" will unlock levels when the device running it is positioned near certain real-world locations and stuffed toys while "Wine and Dine" will focus on the pigs and feature "completely different gameplay".

-Steven Spielberg is planning for "Jurassic Park 4". The film has been on hold since the passing of novelist Michael Crichton and creature designer Stan Winston. "Jurassic Park 3" director Joe Johnston claims that the film could set up another trilogy.

-A man has confessed to the 1994 shooting and robbery of Tupac Shakur that was often blamed on fellow rapper Notorious BIG. Dexter Isaac says he was paid $2,500 for the robbery by gangster James "Jimmy Henchman" Rosemond. Both Tupac and BIG were murdered a few years later and neither crime has been solved.

-A ship carrying over 100 bodies from the crash of Air France flight 447 arrived in France today. The flight crashed two years ago off the coast of Brazil killing everyone on board.

-"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" has been confirmed as the shortest film in the series clocking in at just 130 minutes.

-Adele has scored her sixth week atop the US Billboard Hot 100 Single Charts. Alicia Keys recently revealed that a duet with Adele is a possibility in the future.

-X Factor judge LA Reid will become head of Epic Records on July 5th, it has been revealed. The new roster will be a combination of Jive and Epic artists and may also include the winner of The X Factor.

-Jennifer Lopez is unsure of whether or not she will return to her position as judge on American Idol.

-Nadine Coyle is planning to remake her image. The Girls Aloud singer flopped at a solo career last year but is giving it another go. She recently tweeted a countdown to "Nadine Coyle 2.0" with the title of her new single, "Sweetest High".
